Last week was a marathon. Munchkin had his class holiday party on Tuesday. Pearl had hers on Friday. Nithin had a sinus infection. We survived. The kids have taken to yelling “snuggle time” and we are all supposed to run to the bed to cuddle. They love to do this.
Friday night Nithin and I actually went out on a date night to dinner and then to see a play, A Christmas Story. It was super cute. We had such a nice time.
Saturday morning, we did our normal of rock climbing for Munchkin and music class for Pearl. Pearl put her own shoes on for class and put them on the wrong feet. She loves these little shoes.
Sunday Munchkin and I went to see the Frosty the Snowman play. He loved it.
Sunday afternoon the Fireman Santa drove by and woke Pearl up from her nap. She was not happy, but was excited about seeing the fire trucks.
Pearl has been singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Jingle Bells constantly. Here she is singing:
Monday morning we headed into the city to bee bop around and enjoy the holiday festivities. We started off at Bryant Park for lunch of Turkish wraps and crepes. We picked up chocolate from a couple spots including a chocolate shot for Munchkin then went and saw the tree.
We went and had dinner at Juniors. Munchkin is ready for 2015.
In the morning we woke up and went to Toys R’ Us at about 7:30 went to breakfast and then went back to ride the Ferris wheel.
Yesterday we got home to make our Christmas cookies for Santa to come. We are ready.
