Knitting Complete in 2014

So far this year I completed a few projects I started last year.

Pattern: Erica by Wooly Wormhead

Yarn: I made it in a yarn my girlfriend gave me.  I couldn’t find the tag anymore.  I love the yarn but not too sure about the pattern.  The pattern was done as part of a mystery knit-a-long

Pattern: Winter Garden by Sarah Pope

Yarn: O-Wool 2 Ply

This is a jumper for Pearl for next year that I test knit.  It turns out I did the stich for the bodice incorrect but I like the way it came out.  I love the design and pattern.  I reduced the number of colors for the bottom panel because I was trying to make it look like a flower more with my choices.  I am not too sure about my pink choice.  The yarn I chose to use is O-Wool which I found at Rhinebeck.  I love the colors palette and the feel of it was on the softer side.

I have also been crocheting for the yarn bombing for the down next door which they are calling the Handstitched Hamlet project.  They have hired a fiber artist to come and design and implement a yarn bomb throughout the town.
