This year for Christmas eve I made Scallop shells from Julia Childs first cookbook. I also made mushroom risotto, brussel sprouts and spinach salad. For dessert I made a Paris Breast which was fantastic.
Here is our family picture in our Christmas Pajama’s this year. Aren’t we super cute?
This is the first year Munchkin really knew and helped get the plate ready for Santa.
Munchkin this year wanted to unwrap a gift and play with it. It took us 3 hours to open all the gifts. He is a Shenoy. They do that on his side of the family. My side rips all the gifts open immediately.
This year we took Munchkin out to the store and let him choose one gift for all of us. I got a shirt and taffy bath stuff. Nithin got a shirt and poop key chain. Grandpa got the William and Kate book and Grandma got a spy book. I think he did pretty well at picking out gifts for everyone. Here is a picture of Grandpa and his William and Kate, A Love Story book.
For Christmas dinner I made beef filet with truffles and pate, rolls, mashed potato, and carrots. It was fantastic.
Right before Christmas I finished the following hats for Munchkin, Nithin and Grandpa.
Yarn: Mountain Colors Wool 4/8 in Sweet Pea
Needles: Size 5
Yesterday we had a huge snowstorm of 16 inches and put together some Christmas toys. Munchkin got a workbench which was quite cool but made a total mess.
We made a first pass at the snow yesterday at about 6 inches.
This morning there was an additional foot out there.
